Very good book for griddle beginners
I bought this ebook because I got a blackstone griddle and was scared to use it. This book helps a lot. I made two recipes (Korean marinated beef and fried doughnuts), both very tasty and easy to make. The instructions are clear and the tips about cleaning and temperature are useful. The only small problem is the lack of photos, but for me it' s ok because I can imagine how it should look. Overall I'm happy with this book and recommend it.
simple, tasty and practical
This cookbook 'The Blackstone Griddle Cookbook for Beginners" focuses on quick and healthy meals you can make on a Blackstone griddle. I liked that it includes more than just burgers. You get ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even party style appetizers. The tips about heat control and moisture were very practical. The structure helps because 1/ I could follow step by step instructions and 2/ understand why certain techniques matter. This being said, there is one big issue: absolutely no images ! Unfortunately it is a big miss ... or a good opportunity for a better version in the next edition. STill giving 4 stars as it is for beginners, and really does its job well .
a 4 out of 5
This is a nice cookbook with a short introductory chapter on choosing the perfect griddle, using it safely, and applying general cooking tips for delicious food. I appreciated that the author included all types of meals made on a griddle, not just a list of recipes, but breaksfast, lunches, and dinners, so you can plan your entire day using this device, of course, without forgetting fresh fruits and vegetables to maintain a healthy diet. I also loved the addition of sauces and the inspiring chapter on creating your own recipes. However, I didn't like that the formatting sometimes breaks, which can be confusing. Overall, this makes the book felt a bit cheaper than it actually is, despite its excellent recipes.
